MasterSeal Traffic
Hot Spray Applied Waterproofing Solutions for all Car Parks

Car parks, especially multi-storey car parks are usually challenging areas, with different needs and requirements for top decks, intermediate decks and access ramps. The concrete is subjected to considerable stress due to the mechanical impact of the vehicles, some of which are stationary and others in motion. Parking decks are also subject to the impact of exhaust fumes, lubricants, brake fluids and de-icing salt. In addition, the top-level parking deck is constantly exposed to changing weather conditions – wind, rain, temperature fluctuations, UV radiation, ice and snow.

Hot spray systems from the MasterSeal Traffic range meet all the requirements for car parks.

Key benefits at a glance

Crack-bridging

Crack-bridging

Although they are extremely tough, hot spray systems are highly elastic and can bridge a crack of more than 2 mm. Applied on a car-parks, they will stop the penetration of water and chemicals into the structure.

Fast curing

Fast curing

Hot spray membranes take only a few seconds to harden, the application and the re-opening to traffic can be achieved in 24h, depending the size of the car park.

Primer

A primer is the foundation of all systems and ensures adhesion between the protective system and the substrate.

Chemicals and mechanical resistance

Chemical and mechanical resistance

Hot spray membranes are exceptionally robust. They are so tough that the top coat can be optional in some cases where downtime is the n°1 criteria.

Membrane

The membrane is the watertight and flexible layer which gives its properties to the complete system.

Durability and maintenance costs

Durability and maintenance costs

Hot spray systems are a long-lasting and very reliable solution which ensures a significant reduction in maintenance costs during the life cycle of the structures to which they are applied.

Top coat

The top coat has a key role and must ensure full protection against: temperature variations, sunlight, attack by deicing salts, and wheel abrasion. It has to be easy to clean and allow a fast return to service.

Hot spray waterproofing systems can be easily applied to all kinds of buildings, all roof shapes, substrates and design details. They are lightweight and resistant to all weather conditions.

Hot Spray Water tanks

Water tanks

Hot spray systems cope very well with the specific challenges of water storage where the water tries constantly to escape through the weakest parts of the structure.

Hot Spray Secondary containment

Secondary Containment

The combination of excellent chemical resistance with crack-bridging properties makes the hot spray systems a preferred solution for secondary containment applications.
